Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Sores Under The Foreskin Of Penis Along With Urinary Infection?
My boyfriend had a urinary infection with ulcer like lesions under foreskin of uncircumcised penis. We have been together for 9 months and first time this has come up. I have not had other partner in over 15 years and no history of STDs. Am I at risk?
If you had unprotected intercourse, the chances of contracting STD's are very high. I advise both you and your partner to attend GUM clinic or a general physician at the earliest. Most women remain asymptomatic or show mild symptoms of STD's. Therefore, testing and prompt intervention is crucial to prevent complications and further spread of the disease.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ayesha Shareef, General & Family Physician
