Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of sound in the throat while swallowing could be due to upper respiratory tract infection. It could be due to gastroesopahgeal reflux as well. The sound you mention can also occur due to eustachian tube dysfunction . I would suggest you to take tablet Sinarest at for three days. For relief of throat pain take Calpol. Do warm saline gargles and take ateam which will be very helpful . Avoid hot, sharp and spicy foods. Take luke warm water with turmeric dissolved in it. Your symptoms will start resolving, if symptoms keeps on persisting visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. Start proper antibiotic course after thorough examination. Go for fibroptic scan if your symptoms are not resolving at all to find out exact cause and then start treatment. Avoid cold carbonated and cold beverages.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best wishes,
