What Causes Sound Sensitivity And Tingling Sensation In The Head?

I ve been experiencing a funny feeling with my head lately, ears are very sensitive to noises from a tractor trailer, Harley, sometime loud volume on tv. The feeling in my head is almost a numbing/tingling sensation. Today I started experiencing dizziness. I have chronic migraines and currently receiving Botox injections.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Tinnitus or dizziness may be due to acute vestibular neurinitis or BPPV or labyrinthitis or infections or meniers disease etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Avoid cool drinks and freeze water, avoid smoking and caffeine drinks. Use water vapor inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day for five days. Use tablet Vertin thrice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
