What Causes Spasms Around The Knees?

I had knee replacement on 1-18-2017. I have come along fine but the muscle above and below my knee having knotting/ spasms from time to time. I do walk a couple of miles each day on my job. I am 67. two yrs ago I had my right knee done and did not have this problem. Any ideas on what I may do to relieve the problem?

This is common sfter a knee replacement muscles get immbolized for long so get weaker and stiffer physiotherapy is the best way to deal with it i would suggest you to visit your physiotherpaist as soon as possible and get regular sessions started.
