What Causes Speech Impairment?

My daughter is 22 she is losing her voice it is hard to understand what she ed is saying it started out sounding like she had a stroke but she could think and write normal doctor s did test nothing showed urologist said it was migraines and that the speech losses was caused by stress. They did an EEG and found a nodule on the thyroid could this cause speech loss

Hello,

It may be because the nodule might infiltrate to the vocal cord and causing the speech problems.

Consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated. You might require surgical removal of the nodule.
