What Causes Spiky Feeling In Chest In A Child?
my daughter is 8, a yr ago she was complaining of a spiky feeling in her chest, it ended up passing after a few days, now she s saying she has the same feeling in her anus, on the inside, I am making a dr s apt tomorrow but would appreciate any insite til then, maybe a possible cause

As per my clinical experience, spiky feeling in the chest indicates gastric upset via reflux of stomach acid. The anal sensation is related to possible worms infestation most likely and can be easily cured with anti helminthic medicaions as albendazole or ivermectin. Dietary measures with avoidance of spices, non veg, dairy fat must be taken care of.
