General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Stenosis is nothing but narrowing. Stenosis causes compression on your nerves and thus causes symptoms. This compression is the cause of your symptoms like pain and weakness. Consult a neurosurgeon and get evaluated. He will explain the various treatment options.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
