Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Spinal Tremors Along With Heart Palpitation And Anxiety?
I am 50 yr old. I feel light shivering (coldness) particularly in the spinal area two to three times in 24 hrs during which body gets slightly stiff, palpitations increase, feel weakness and anxiety prevails. Got medical check up, blood tests, urine culture, nothing positive found. Took typhoid medicine for 7 days on the advice of Doctor but no improvement but fever is not observed. I am a hypertension patient and take regular medicine. What is the problem? Who to be Consulted? Is it psychological or physical?
Hello dear welcome to HealthcareMagic Regarding your experience with cold sensations around the spine palpitation anxiety weakness body stiffness following treatment for hypertension I am suggesting that you are gradually developing side effects of antihypertensive medication
In view of this please see a cardiologist specialist for further clinical assessment Councelling as well as possible re-evaluation of your antihypertensive medication
Meanwhile please take some anxiolytic drugs pending your appointment
I hope this helps Regards
