The outer corner of each one of my eyes has a slight split in the corner that is very uncomfortable. I wear contacts but I take them out every evening. However, taking them in and out every day just causes the split to reopen and sometimes actually bleed. How can I cure it without putting anything on it that could effect my actual eye
Hello It seems from the history that you are having split in the corners of the eye. This is probably because of angular conjunctivitis or blepharitis. The treatment of the condition is by using antibiotic eye ointment. If the eye is red with discharge then you need to avoid using of contact lenses as this may aggravate the infection.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
Thank you
