Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Ok I have this discomfort that comes and goes. Located about 2 inches to the right of my belly button. I have had a CT scan with contrast to rule out diverticulitis and that came back negative and an ultrasound of my gall bladder which was also negative. Sometimes heat and extra strength Tylenol help.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advise.
Because all the examinations come back normal and this is a discomfort that is better with tylenol very likely this is a muscular pain and continuing with the hot compresses and tylenol is advisable. You might need to talk with a Physiotherapist to have some exercises that will help relax the muscles and strengthen them.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Kind regards, Antoneta Zotaj, MD
