What Causes Sporadic Mild Pain In Chest And Back?

Have had periodic mild pain, really barely noticeable, in mid chest area and sometimes in the upper back, too.. Ran on the treadmill for my cardiologist a couple of weeks ago and he told me that everything looked normal..Have had a few episodes of acid reflux in the last year, but wonder about cancer of esophagus or something?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your sporadic pain at the middle of your chest radiating to your back I am strongly believing you have a peptic ulcer disease
In view of this please do an endoscopy to diagnose the condition
However this is not cancer of the esophagus despite your reflux disease if it is cancer you could develop an obstruction leading to dysphagia
Meanwhile please take the following
Tablet gestid
Tablet cimetidine
Tablet omeprazole
I hope this helps
