What Causes Sporadic Pain In The Arm And Shoulder?

Hi, I have had pain - on and off - with my left arm, shoulder, and sometimes my hand. It has persisted (again, on and off) for at least 6 or so weeks......I am wondering if I should go get it checked out? I am not aware of doing anything in particular to injure it. But I do carry a fairly heavy backpack on that shoulder most work days (although I did switch shoulders a week or so ago and it seems to be lessening; but I do still have some of the pain).

Hi,

It can be a simple musculoskeletal pain. You can take analgesics like Acetaminophen or Tramadol for pain relief.

If symptoms persist, better to consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.
