What Causes Sporadic Pain Near The Navel Along With Nausea?
Alright, so, I ve kept a few notes! I ll go to my GP later, but I m curious now, so. I appreciate the help! - since Friday night (or 22nd) - pain at night near belly button - it comes and goes - when it s not quite pain, it feels like pressure - I think it s easing somewhat (24th), but it still aches - I kinda feel nauseous like there s something sitting at the base of my neck going up to the back of my mouth
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
This type of pain along with nausea and vomiting is suggestive of Appendicitis. Please consult the surgeon and get properly examined.
Have a confirmatory ultrasonography examination. Antibiotic to resolve inflammation followed by surgical removal of the appendix is the treatment option.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Hiren Hirpara
