What Causes Spotting After Having Estrace For Vaginal Dryness?

I started estrace 5 days ago for dryness in vagina, was takenb off birth control in may , had one period and none since, was told to take small dose of estrace for 2 weeks twice a week after that and 2 days ago started noticing alot of spotting was wondering if I started the twice a week now would the spotting stop

Hi,
I understand your concern.
vaginal bleeding is one of the untoward reaction of Estrace- which needs to be reported to treating doctor.
So I would advise you not to take further dose of Estrace, before doctor assesses vaginal bleeding and confirms use of the drug.
