What Causes Spotting After Period?

I am 32 years old and experiencing spotting 3 days after my period ended. However, it wasn't a normal period. On the 14th, there was light spotting. The 15th was a light flow, 16th was medium, 17th was light, and the 18th was spotting again. Normally, my period lasts for 7 days, and they're always heavy. And I've never had spotting in between cycles. I took a pregnancy test today, and it was negative. Is it possible that I'm pregnant, or is this something I should be worried about?

I have gone through your Query & I really appreciate your concern about the problem you are facing.

You are surely for 100% not pregnant don't worry. But I would also like to tell you that breakthrough bleeding like spotting in between two cycles is a serious health issue.

It could be due to anything like Fibroid, Cervical Growth, Side effect of Hormonal Contraceptive pill etc. Thus I would advise to you that you should visit your Obgy doctor as soon as possible to get checkup and blood workup done to pin point the exact cause of this bleeding.
