Hi,
Implantation bleeding is a small amount of fresh bleeding sometimes resembling a light period and this happens at about the time of the expected period. At other times, and also subsequent to an intercourse, other causes should be considered for this spotting. They may vary from the presence of polyps, erosions, infections, trauma or hormone imbalances. Please wait for your next normal period and if you do not see it go for a HPT with a fresh morning sample of urine 3-7 days later. Take care.
