What Causes Spotting After Taking Emergency Contraceptive Pills?

I had protected sex on 16 of dec.To be on a safer side i popped an emergency contrceptive pill (ipill). On 22 dec i had been in an amusment park and i had a spotting. After it 2 days the bleeding continued it was similar to period. I took a urine pregnancy test which was negative. On 10 january that is today it has again started bleeding its like that of period.What is the reason for this. Pregnancy or ecp?

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Bleeding and spotting are common for next 7-10 days after the intake of the emergency contraceptive pill.
Moreover, you have got proper bleeding from10 January, which are likely to be your periods.
I would suggest you not to worry, and you can do a urine pregnancy test to be doubly sure.
