What Causes Spotting And Brown Vaginal Discharge While On Birth Control?
I ve been on birth control for about 8 months now and I just started spotting and having dark brown discharge come fro my vagin . I ve heard that sometimes this will happen between period, but only about 1-2 days. mine has lasted 4 days now. should I worry?
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. What symptoms you are facing of having spotting and brown vaginal discharge are some of the common side effects while on birth control. You need not worry if it happens once in a while for about 2 to 4 days. Such symptoms gradually subsides on its own without any intervention. You need to consult Gynecologist if this continues for a longer period and starts to happen frequently. In that case, your birth control measures needs renewal and adopt to the one which would suit you. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
