What Causes Spotting And Reduced Menstruation?

Hi doc,i was on jadelle for 3 yrs and removed it on july 2014,upto now av nt bn able to conceive.however i think ovulate coz i do hav the mis cycle pain,also m y period Is regular bt vert scanty.i hav a 26day cycle bt i spot on 23rd or 24th Day then only hav a period for 2days,what cud b the prob?i had c section, coule o b having utérine adhésions or hormonal imbalance?

Hi,

Jardelle is a long acting contraceptive implant. It contains hormone which causes certain menstrual changes while the product is active. After it's removal, you get regular periods with mid period pain which can suggest ovulation. Still, it needs to be confirmed by ovulation study. USG scan / MRI would clear all the problems (about ovulation or adhesions) which would facilitate the management and solution of your conception problem.

Hi,

Your symptoms seem to be due to menstrual irregularity due to hormonal imbalance (ovarian, thyroid, pituitary or ovulation problem). A detailed pelvic USG scanning along detailed physical examination by an expert gynecologist with hormonal assessment would pin point cause followed by specific treatment to solve your problem.
