What Causes Spotting Blood, Cold And High Appetite?

I have had these symptoms lately sore back, I was spotting blood for about a week or two before I was suppose to have my period, my period was only a couple of days and the flow was not normal. I am hungry more frequently, just had a random hot flash, when I am usually cold in my work office.

This type of menstrual irregularities can be due to hormonal abnormality. A thyroid test and a sugar test has to be done.
