What Causes Spotting Continuously Before A Period?

I'm 20 years old, have been on orthotricyclen lo for 4 years. About a year ago I was diagnosed with HPV with mild cervical dysplasia. This month around mid cycle I started spotting. Although this is normal, it's never happened to me before and it hasn't stopped since. I will be expecting my period in about 5 days. Is this cause for concern?
