What Causes Spotting During Defecation Along With Missed Period?
I have been experiencing symptoms of perimenopause and skip a period once in a while. During this skipped period is it possible to have light spotting caused by a bowel movement? Been having abdominal discomfort and not much of an appetite. Thank you.

I understand your concern.
The menses are irregular during perimenopause. So though such spotting can occur .specially after straining for hard stools,..( Abdominal discomfort & less appetite favor the cause ).
You can take mild stool softener like Lactulose & B complex supplements This should mostly help.
. But still it is advised to get checked by a gynecologist to exclude other possible problems at this age.
