What Causes Spotting During Pregnancy?

Hello doctor, I had miscarriage twice this year.im now 9wks pregnant but I started bleeding on 6wk and I went to the hospital, I was place on bedrest and primulot depot was prescribed for a month.i saw the blood again on 7wk bt later stopped.i have just taken two dosage of the primulot depot and Im to take the third tomorrow. I saw blood again yesterday and I went for scan, the scan said im still pregnant. Bt im still bleeding now, pls advice me

Hi,

You are having threatened abortion & are given hormone progesterone to support the pregnancy. You still have bleeding in between, to prevent this you would need-
- a solute bed rest till pregnancy is safe
- take hormone prescribed regularly
- your doctor can add certain antibiotics after some pathological tests as per need.
