What Causes Spotting For A Week During Menstrual Cycle?

My last period was on 8th April .. I had unprotected sex but but nothing happened (as Nthng got inserted.. Still a virgin) then on 7th may I had spotting( lill more Dan spotting) fr about a week... I got scared n did a pergency test bt it came negative... I still hv nt got my periods... I afraid to go to the doctor as she is our family frmd... Wil d doctor ever *** to Noe I had sum physical intimacy ..??? N wat about my periods..??? Is that spotting was my periods... N I hv expercienced dis kinda spotting earlier also but after that I recieved my regular periods... Pls help me
