What Causes Spotting, Head And Neck Pain With Arm Heaviness?

My wife, 37 years old, menses due the 15th this month. Began to have spotting..small amounts of blood occasionally. Today has pain in her head and neck which was relieved this a.m. by NSAIDS 600mg. This afternoon the head and neck pain returned and she has said that her arms feel heavy as they did this a.m. bnefore the Nsaids. I am an RN she does not have swollen lymph nodes any where...and no fever....??? What do you think???
