What Causes Spotting Of Blood After Intercourse While Taking Depo-Provera Shots?
So I ve been getting the depo shot for almost a year now and I ve never had any problems at all and I love the depo shot it s very convenient but I do have a question. So two days ago I was having sex intercourse with my fiancé and i happened to notice blood and it scared the both of us because it s never happened before and I was trying to understand why that happened? And or what may be causing that to happen?

Depo provera sometimes has side effects of spotting and bleeding.
You may need to take norethisterone to stop bleeding.
