What Causes Spotting Post An Ablation Procedure?

I had an ablasion 2014. Since then my period was much lighter. Since I can remember after the ablasion I have had brown discharge during the time I get my period. My concern is that at least for the past 4 months I only get brown discharge with a little red blood during my period. At times even brown chunks. Should I be concerned?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

IF THE BLEEDING IS HEAVIER YOU HAVE TO GET AN ENDOMETRIAL BIOPSY.IF IT IS LIGHTER AND NOT ASSOCIATED WITH ANY FOUL SMELLING DISCHARGE DON'T HAVE TO WORRY.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
