What Causes Spotting Post Intercourse?

I currently have my 2nd Mirena IUD in place; the 2nd one I had placed approximately a year ago. I had sexual intercourse with my boyfriend over the weekend & for some reason I am spotting today. This had never happened before. What could be the cause?

Common causes of bleeding after sex may be due to many causes but primarily include:Injury(trauma),Vaginal dryness,Infections,Cervical or endometrial polyps or fibroid,Cervical ectropion,Endometriosis,Cervical dysplasia and Anatomical abnormalities.
