What Causes Spotting When On Canesten Pessary?

Hay I ve stopped taking my pill 6 months ago and sinse then I get bad thrush 1 week before my period, I ve been prescribed 4 months worth of canisten pessary and the cream. I used it 4 days before my period last month and it brought my period on early but it wasn t a normal period, it was a bright pink spotting followed by two days normal period and that was it. This month I ve used it 6 days before my period and the same spotting has happened. Is this normal?

As spotting take place prior to full bleeding of period, it indicates break through bleeding of So infection, which may be sub clinical.So need thorough check up and a course of antibiotics with anti inflamatory, during running period.
