What Causes Spotting While Taking Depo Provera Shot?

I have been taking the depo provera shot for almost a year with no issues. For the last two weeks I have been experiencing spotting that comes and goes. Now I am currently expelling white and dark red tissue. I do experience lightheadedness at times of standing up.

A few side effects of Depo Provera shot are changes in your menstrual cycle is the most common side effect that women experience (You may experience irregular bleeding or spotting), headaches, nervousness, depression, acne, changes in appetite, weight gain, excessive growth of facial and body hair, hair loss, osteoporosis and dizziness in 1% of subjects taking the shot.

Your side effects are normal with Depo Provera. I advise you to drink more water to prevent light headed ness when you stand up.
