What Causes Spotting With Clots During Pregnancy?

I m 7 weeks pregnant and started bleeding red a few days ago and have had small clots every now and then. I was assuming I m having a miscarriage and have been very distraut. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow. I was wondering if you could help explain what this might be.

Hello,

Spotting will clots during pregnancy may be significant for abortion. If pain starts also you should go to ER. You need to do an abdominal ultrasound to get checked.
