What Causes Spotting With Less Flow During Menstruation?

hi I was wondering what s going on with my period? I started my cycle on the 2nd of august and i m normally on for 7 days with heavy flow until the last day,yesterday I started spotting and had little flow and today its the same thing. I don t know whats going on but can u please fill me in
