What Causes Spotting With No Regular Menstrual Period?

I haven't had a period since late last month. I should have had it by now for sure, its the 28th. Yesterday morning after my morning tinkle I had a very small amount of powder pink discharge which I have never seen before. I thought that was my period starting but I haven't seen anything since. Pregnant?
