What Causes Spotting With Tenderness In The Breast?

I usually have a break out leading up to my period start date. I have had this breakout, came on my period for a couple of hours then it stopped. Took 2 pregnancy test both negative. Also my nipples are very tender and sore. What could this possibly be?

Hi,
A home pregnancy test reads well 3-7 days after a missed period when performed with a fresh early morning sample of urine. It looks as though you have done the tests too early. You can either repeat the test as suggested or go for the estimation of the serum beta-hCG titres, which are an efficient and more sensitive method of early pregnancy detection. A trans-vaginal sonogram performed after a couple of days adds up to this effort. Hope you find this information useful. Wish you good health.
