What Causes Sprain Type Pain In Left Bicep And Elbows?

I am 54 yr old women. I have been experiencing sprain type pain in my left bicep down through elbow for about a month now. The intensity of the pain comes and goes. In the last week I have been experiencing upper stomach pain and spasm with diarrhea. I have no other symptoms and I am not sure these two are related and how worried I should be?

Hello,

Stomach pain with diarrhea and pain in hand are not connected to each other.

For stomach pain and diarrhea you can be prescribed antibiotic and antacid course.

For pain in hand, you need to investigate with local part X-ray to check for any sprain in muscle or tendon if present. You can Consult orthopedic surgeon for that.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
