What Causes Squiggly Lines In The Peripheral Vision And Loss Of Balance?

Around10 am I had symtoms of getting a migraine, seeing squiggly lines in my side vision then lines in the middle of my vision. I took 6 mg of ibuprofen. I never got a headache but since then I ve continued to feel wiped out. I slept 2 hours from 4-6pm ate and now at almost 1am I am off balance and feel unstable. Is this a migraine or what?

Hi,

Yes, it is a migraine. A migraine can cause such phenomena in the peripheral vision and also can cause balance problems. You should consider a long-term course of sumatriptan.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
