What Causes Squishy Lump On The Temple Post Removal Of Meningioma Tumor?
I recently had surgery to remove a benign meningioma tumor from the left side of my head above my eye. Surgery went well and I was released 3 days after w/follow-up within 2 weeks. I had noticed an egg sized squishy pillow at my left temple. He explained that it was a spinal leak and would go away in a short time. It is now 4 weeks after surgery and the pillow is still there, sometimes it seems to have disappeared, but comes back and today is larger than before. Should I be concerned?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, such clinical sign needs to be taken seriously if this was the neurological surgery and it is most advisable to get done the MRI test and see the neurosurgeon and discuss it hope this information and advise helps.
