What Causes Stabbing Pain In Left Temple Area?

Iv been having stabbing pains in my left temple area. They last 30 seconds or so and go away, they come back a minute or two later. Iv been having them (non-stop it feels like) for three days!!! Iv taken excedrine and ibuprofen with absolutely no relief. What is this?!!!

HI
These are like what are known as ice pick headaches and they are related to migraines
Medications like propranolol can help with them but you need to see a doctor for an evaluation of the problem
