What Causes Stabbing Pain In The Chest In An Elderly Person?

Hi, I am a women 78 years very good health but the pass 2-3 weeks I have had a stabbing pain in my chest , now on my right side by my breast and it is not going away, also a sharp pain the last few days on my left side of my ribs, no fever but it seems to be staying with me all day. Thank you Jean~~~~~~

you should get your ECG done and also visit cardiologist with report.Better to do the ECG when you are having the pain ongoing than waiting and doing it later.chest pain is one of the emergencies so you should be going to ER before it gets worst.few test need to be done plus keep record of your blood pressure everyday.
