General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Constipation in your case is a normal response of your body to the pain felt during defecation. Your body wants to protect you from the pain you feel and it slows bowel movement thus resulting in dried and hard feces, and ending in constipation which in turn increases bowel pain.
That's why the treatment of the original cause has to take priority. You need to see a gastroenterologist (GI) doctor. He will first order a complete blood count analysis and a colonoscopy. It may be a ulcerative disease causing this, like herpes or other STDs, it can be inner Hemorroids or based from your family history, eraly signs of colon cancer.
Please, do not postpone the visit to the GI specialist.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
Wish you good health.
