What Causes Stabbing Pain On Left Bicep?

I have been getting stabbing pain in my left bicep... the pain doesn't move it just goes on and off I have had herniated and bulging discs before in my lower back(l4-l5 and l5-s1).., Could this be one from another part of my back? Im 27 and male and play sports
