What Causes Start Of Menstrual Period After Taking Plan B?

I got my period feburary 23rd, 2011 and it ended february 28th, which was a wensday i had sex with my partenr and the condom broke within two hours i took lan b then after two days i got dry blood spotting and it went away its been one week and i just got my period today what does that mean ??
