What Causes Sticky And Red Spot Between Anus And Vagina?

I have a small red spot between my anus and vagina. It sticks out a little and feels fleshy. It doesn t hurt but stings a little when I wipe after I ve been to the toilet. I ve tried to squeeze it but it just bleeds and doesn t shrink. I m worried about what it can be as its in such an awkward place. Is it just a harmless spot or is it something more serious?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Based on the history you have shared, you should get it reviewed by a dermatologist as it can be a viral wart and may need liquid nitrogen or cryotherapy if so. Other STDs should also be ruled out.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
