What Causes Stiff Jaw After Extraction Of Wisdom Tooth?

8 days ago i had 3 of my wisdom teeth extracted.Since then I have not been able to open my mouth wide as my jaw goes stiff and feels like its locking. Before this I was able to open my mouth very wide, click it out of place and it would continually make a popping sound throughout the day. i am 25 years old
