What Causes Stiff Neck And Difficulty In Turning The Head?

Hi! I m a 59 young female, 126lbs and I am having issues turning my head to the left more than the right. The area around my neck feels stiff. My stress level is pretty high and I understand that may be contributing to not being able to turn my neck without pain to my left side. At the wellness center I was suggested to take uric for to help with this pain. What do you think? d

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you should do an x-ray, I suspect you may be suffering from arthritis of neck. Take Advil for pain. Use ice compresses to reduce inflammation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
