What Causes Stiffness In Bones And Headaches In The Morning?

I am waking up every morning with aching and stiff bones, particularly in my neck, shoulders and back and I also wake up with a headache. The symptons disappear after an hour or so. I have recently come off HRT so could this be another menopausal sympton?
