What Causes Stiffness In Hand And Feet Along With Frequent Urination After Taking Plan B?

Hello, last week, my boyfriend and I had sexual intercourse. Although it was not sex, we have reason to believe that semen might have entered the vaginal area, but we are not sure. I had just gotten off of my period two days earlier. The next day, I felt a pain in my stomach, so I got nervous and decided that I should take a plan b. We took the plan b within the 72 hour period. Lately I have been waking up and my hands and sometimes my feet feel stiff.My boyfriend believes that it is due to something else but I am scared. I also have light headaches, and today I have had frequent urination.

Hi,

Plan B contains levonorgestrel which is used to prevent pregnancy after unprotected sex. They are taken as 2 pills separately within 72 hours of unprotected sex. Side effects of Plan B are nausea, vomiting, dizziness, headache, lower abdominal pain, breast tenderness, fatigue, bleeding between periods, heavier menstrual bleeding, tingling sensation in the hands and feet, infections, frequent urination, weight gain, tiredness, diarrhea, acne, allergic reactions etc.
