What Causes Stinging On Penis Tip While Urination?

I am a 62 year old male with a history of prostatitis issue beginning 20+ years ago.My PSA is 0.17 and hasn't changed though my prostate has enlarged over the years.I sometimes have a sharp stinging at the tip of my penis when I urinate, and sometimes a very slight burning afterwards, but after intial stinging no pain at all during urination.I've had several urine tests over the past several years that reveal no infection, blood abnormalities in the urine.I had a CAT scan that showed no problems with urinary tract or bladder.The symptoms seem to improve when I drink more.Is that the answer.drink more?

I appreciate your concern
some times burning and stinging sensation may occur with concentrated urine
Since all your urine reports came to be normal and your symptoms disappear with intake of adequate water, there are very high possibility that this could be due to passing of highly concentrated urine through urethra

In my opinion you can ask your doctor for urine culture if it has not been done earlier
You should take lots of fluids including fresh fruit juices and lemon water
Maintain good hygiene
wash your hands with antiseptic soap or solution every time you use wash room.
