What Causes Stinging Sensation In The Corner Of The Eye?

Today the far outer corner of my left eye feels like something is in there but I don't see anything. I feel it when I blink and look in different directions. It causes my eye to tear up a lot. I haven't done anything that could've caused this to happen.

get it examined by ophthalmologist. it can be dry eye or angular conjunctivitis. it may be some foreign body stuck in cornea.eye movement is to be tested. refraction can be done and if error is detected then it should be corrected.
