What Causes Stinging Sensation On Testicles?

Hello doctor, I am 14 years old and I have a small sting on my left testis, It's not actually red in color but it stings, I happened while I was taking a shower. When I touched my left testis It stings. Im afraid it might be some sort of infection, Please answer back. thank you

Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.
Noted your history of stinging on the left side of the scrotum that you have noticed during shower.
The commonest causes at your age of 14 are:
Insect/ant bites are known to occur and one does not get the pain and scrotum skin because of its different structure responds differently.
Another possibility is of having an infection in the form of a boil or so.
I would advise you to consult and get examined by a Doctor to confirm that there is nothing serious and to get a prescription if required so.
